MYSTERY/REVELATION

EPHESIANS 3:9

From the Desk of Davina Douglass:

With much prayer and love I release the following to you Beloved:

What happens for me is like putting a puzzle together, a Divine picture of God’s word, once hidden but now revealed.

First, I’m given the scripture God wants me to put together (puzzle pieces from box/bible) of the hidden mystery (picture) He wants revealed.

Next, I take each word of the scripture (puzzle piece) and find the Strong’s meaning to each one (gives me placement, corner-side-body piece, etc…) and write them in my journal.

Then I take each Strong’s meaning -- word by word-- and look them up in the Webster’s Dictionary to find their meanings. (This gives each puzzle piece a design, helping to align/group them properly). Then I write them down.

I pray over each meaning (piece) until the Holy Spirit highlights what I’m to see in each one, which I then underline (placement of the puzzle piece).

I then start reading each underlined word over & over again until the Holy Spirit releases me to write them in the order He gives me (final picture) thus, revealing the mystery (puzzle finished).

Fellowship of the Mystery Puzzle:

Mystery – Strong’s (3466) – moos/tay/reeon

MYSTERY: (Final Picture, Puzzle Finished)

Hidden and unexplained, a practice of deception to govern or control, through a belief to not preach the rites or ceremonies of formal admission except to those who are set apart for religion.

As you read through Ephesians this is what Paul was commissioned to change, to make known the Fellowship of the Mystery (Ephesians 3:9), to the Gentiles. No longer was God willing to allow the Gentiles to be separated from Him. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross was done for ALL and it was Paul’s lifelong work to make sure that the Gentiles were made aware of the sacrifice along with all the spiritual blessings they had access to.

Ephesians 2:11-13 (Brought Near by His Blood)

Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh – who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands – that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Ephesians 2:19-22 (Christ our Cornerstone)

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Ephesians 3:14-21 (Appreciation of the Mystery)

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height – to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Mystery appears 27 times only in the New Testament (KJV). In a few passages it has reference to a symbol, parable, which conceals its meaning from those who look only at the literal sense, but is the medium of revelation to those who have the key to its interpretation. By far the most common meaning in the New Testament is that which is so characteristic of Paul, namely, a Divine Truth once hidden, but now revealed in the gospels. It should be noted how closely “mystery” is associated with “revelation” (apokalupsis). Mystery and Revelation are in fact correlative and almost synonymous terms. The mysteries of Christianity are its revealed doctrines, in contrast to the wisdom of worldly philosophy. The point of contrast being, not that the latter is comprehensible while the former obscure, but that the latter is the product of intellectual research (worldly philosophy), while the former are the result of Divine revelation (revealed doctrines) and are spiritually discerned. Revelation – Strong’s (602)

laying bear, making naked, a disclosure of truth

Der. (601) Apokalupto – to uncover, lay open what has been veiled or covered up

Webster’s Dictionary:

Revelation: An act of revealing or communicating divine truth

Act: an action, process of doing, a decree, edict, or enactment

Decree: the predetermined (before-fixed) purpose (design) of God

Revealing: to make known

Truth: eternal principle of right, a law of order

Uncover: to expose or bring to light

Veiled: hidden, concealed

REVELATION:

To bring to light what has been hidden (mystery) by making known the fixed design of God’s law of order.

Revelation appears 10 times only in the New Testament (KJV). Once again, the most common meaning, which Paul writes of, is of the truth being revealed to us by Jesus Christ Himself so that we could know Him and understand what is expected of us, His servants. It is through revelation knowledge of Him that our lives make any sense and have any order. Without the revelation He so generously gives we would be of no good to ourselves much less our fellow brothers or sisters in Christ. We are called to be the Light of this world, and it is only through the Revelation Knowledge that brings to light what has been hidden that we are able to follow God’s law of order and be that Light to a dark world.

I hope it is becoming quite clear to you that without the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ (New Testament) we would not have access to the Divine Truth that God has intended for us to partake in. We do not have to rely on the Priests to know God’s will for us, we now, through Jesus Christ, have the access to the Holy of Holies ourselves, where we get to meet face to face with our Precious Lord and Savior. We are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.

Matthew 27:51

Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom;

Ephesians 1:7-9

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace, which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself…

Beloved, I pray that you will seek an intimate relationship with your Heavenly Father so that all He has for you, His only son Jesus Christ, can be revealed. Give Him the opportunity to communicate Revelation Knowledge into your spiritual man for all the things that concern you. Do not rely on man’s words to fill you up…be filled with the word of God directly from the throne room of Heaven. Use this Revelation to grow into a holy temple in the Lord, a dwelling place for God.

I leave you with this:

Revelation 21:3

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

I appreciate each one of you for your patience and prayers that have so generously given me the excitement to take on this task. Please continue to pray for this ministry to help me reach all the Nations of God.

As of this day, this Newsletter is going to the United States, Guatemala, and Canada. Glory to God!!!

Blessings and Much Love, Davina Douglass
